Things about the Fiber Towel!

Oct. 16, 2020

How to maintain our towels and the correct way of drying? We recommend that you take a look at the following article.

Let’s summarize and help you extend the life and condition of your towels.

1. Cleaning before use.

I know that everyone has the same mentality, and hope to try it out the first time after getting a new product. It is not recommended to use the towel directly, it is best to wash it before the first use. Towels are more or less contaminated by dust during the production process, packaging, and transportation, and some dyed towels with insufficient colorfastness may have a certain chance of fading. So I suggest that you get a new towel and wash it once before using it.

2. How to clean?

It is best to use cold water and add a special liquid towel cleaner for cleaning. Do not use powdered washing powder. These powder particles will be absorbed by the Quick Dry Microfiber Towel. Fabric softeners and bleaching agents (it is estimated that few will be used for joining the club) can not be used, which will cause the towel to lose water absorption. Then make sure that your microfiber towel is washed separately from other items.

In addition, towels that have been wiped with solid agents such as wax, sealing agent, glaze, etc., should be cleaned separately from the water-receiving towel to avoid mutual contamination. Finally, I hope everyone can clean the towel as soon as possible after each construction.

The washed Car Washing Microfiber Towel is recommended to be stored in a dry and airtight container to avoid moisture and dust pollution.

3. How to dry?

Do not use a dryer for high-temperature drying. Microfiber towels usually contain 70%-80% polyester (polyester) and 20%-30% polyamide (nylon). Polyester has a low melting point, and some dryers cannot be set to a controllable low temperature, which may cause damage to the towel.

Therefore, we do not recommend using a dryer that cannot be temperature-controlled for drying. If your dryer can't accurately control the temperature, you would rather dry it naturally after spin-drying than using the dryer. Spin-drying is to use the centrifugal force of high-speed rotation to shake the water out of drying without damaging the fibers.

4. Check towels regularly

How do we check whether the towel has been damaged through incorrect maintenance? Lay the towel flat and pour a little water on the towel. If the water drops are not absorbed but stay on the surface. Congratulations, this towel can be thrown away or wiped off the wheels and tires. The towel fibers have been fused and cannot be repaired. And don't leave your towel in a damp place. This environment will allow bacteria to breed and produce unpleasant odors and will slowly destroy your towels.

5. About the dropped towel.

If the towel falls on the ground, pick it up and continue to use it, just like nothing, this is the worst. Unless you use tweezers to pick out all the contaminated particles on the ground or wash them thoroughly, this towel will definitely let you know the fragility of the paint.

These tips will extend the life of your towels and increase the safety of use.

Tips: Adding a small amount of white vinegar during the washing process will help the grease and dirt get out of the towel and make the towel softer.
