How To Use Microfiber Towels

Microfiber is an effective tool for workers in all walks of life, including:

Automobile: The high water absorption of microfiber makes it very suitable for car washing. Auto shops can use microfiber towels for washing, cleaning, and decoration. The microfiber towel will not scratch the paint on the car or leave fluff. It is an ideal tool for drying and polishing the car. They can also withstand heavy use, scrubbing, and repeated cleaning without deterioration, so car wash shops and auto shops get the best value from their investment in microfiber cleaning products.

Healthcare: Microfiber has the ability to remove bacteria and helps prevent cross-contamination and the spread of infection. Some hospitals have replaced traditional mops with ultra-fiber mops to clean patient care areas in an attempt to reduce hospital-acquired infections. Because microfiber can effectively remove bacteria and does not require water or chemical detergents, it has great potential in helping medical institutions prevent the spread of bacteria.

Cleaning and housekeeping: Unlike traditional cleaning tools, microfiber cleaning tools are light and ergonomic, and are difficult to operate in wet conditions. This can make it easier for cleaners to do their jobs efficiently. Since microfibers can be cleaned effectively with little or no water, it can reduce the possibility of workers getting nervous or slipping during the cleaning process. Microfiber cleaning tools also do not require chemicals, so cleaners are exposed to fewer harmful gases and substances.

Daycare: Microfiber provides an effective, chemical-free cleaning method for daycare and nurseries. With many children around, it is likely to cause daily chaos and the spread of bacteria. The durability and water absorption of microfiber make it ideal for use in daycare facilities, whether it is to disinfect surfaces or clean up spills. Since the microfiber does not require chemicals to clean, the equipment should avoid exposing children to chemical cleaning agents.

Household: Microfiber is not only used for industrial purposes it is also very suitable for disinfecting and cleaning up the mess at home. Prepare microfiber towels in the kitchen and bathroom to clean up spills, polish the cabinets, and keep the countertops sterile. Use them to wipe the dust on surfaces such as mirrors and photo frames, or to mop the floor. You can even put a microfiber towel in your travel bag or wallet to wipe dirty surfaces such as your phone or tablet during the trip.

When taking care of your microfiber, keep in mind the heat. Microfiber contains nylon, so if exposed to higher temperatures, the fiber of the towel will decompose and make it ineffective. Avoid washing microfibers in hot water above 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The drying temperature should not be higher than 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

If your towel starts to smell or does not function as it should, try boiling it with a quarter cup of baking soda for 10 to 15 minutes. Before folding and storing them, be sure to let them dry completely.

Taking the time to take good care of your microfiber towels will greatly increase their effectiveness and longevity. With proper attention, you should be able to clean the microfiber towel anywhere from 100 to 500 times without losing the effect.
